Project Engineer

Role Description:
As a project engineer you are the substantive point of contact for Clinisys products. You communicate with customers and colleagues about the possibilities and solutions and contribute to improvements to the products.
You are a specialist in the products made by Clinisys and rolled out to the laboratories. You are the person who is seen as the most important substantive link for the services and products provided by Clinisys and their application to customers. You are task-conscious in carrying out the position and always looking for improvements.
As a project engineer, you work in a structured manner, you have good communication skills and enjoy working on projects in a team. As a Project engineer within the Professional Services department, you report to the team lead within Professional Services Benelux.
Responsibilities:
- Works together with fellow Project Engineers and under the guidance of the Project Managers on implementation projects.
- Makes recommendations and identifies project risks for the Project Manager
- Prepares visits and draws up associated documents.
- Ensures correct registration in the ERP system of the required product licenses prior to installation and includes the exported license key file with the installation.
- Executes assigned project tasks according to the project plan, paying attention to available hours and focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Takes responsibility for all technical aspects of assigned tasks.
- Provides training to customers within their own knowledge area.
- Makes a visit report for the customer after a customer visit and updates colleagues.
- Escalates possible problems to the Project Manager or Team Lead Professional Services
- Ensures that the progress of all assigned project tasks in the ERP system is accurate and up-to-date and that tasks are recorded correctly and timely according to internal procedure.
- Builds and maintains a good customer relationship, contributing to good overall customer satisfaction.
- Attends internal and client-led project meetings with the Project Manager
- Provides feedback to the technical writer to provide and/or improve documentation.
- Suggests areas for improvement for products and to improve delivery time and quality.
- Passes on knowledge to colleagues.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working and thinking level
- Experience in healthcare and ICT affinity
- Experience in working with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Knowledge of laboratory work processes
- Healthcare communication standards such as HL7, ASTM, IHE...
- Operating systems, networking, virtualization
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English, German and/or French is an advantage.
- Strong motivational skills – can deliver tasks in complex circumstances
- Good oral and written communication skills; including communication with technical and non-technical customers and colleagues at all levels within the organization
- High level of commitment and ability to take action when necessary
- Ability to work both independently and in teamwork
