Role Description:
Product owner owns, manages, and prioritises user-story / incidents backlog to align with feature priorities.
They understand feature complexities and advises the Development Manager and Product Manager to ensure the product fulfils customer needs with the strategic direction.
Product Owner collaborates with Product Manager in the gathering, tracking, evaluation, and prioritisation of enhancement requests and known issues from clients, regional consultants, sales, support, and other internal staff.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements refinements through customer interviews and onsite visits/observations
- Initiate Regulatory Impact Analysis
- Delivery of visual and textual requirements, design artifacts
- Work with UX team to develop prototypes as needed
- Provide the ADO backlog by feature, user stories and incidents with estimates, and appropriate design artifacts per the Definition of Ready in the Development Release Plan
- Organize Internal and User Focus Groups, Feature Demos with customers where appropriate
- Present product enhancements on user groups
- Support sales/CS with input for tenders
- Define and describe the functionality of new articles of the product
- Propose alternative workarounds for customers’ needs given the current release
- Fast reaction on highest priority support calls (patient safety, customer cannot work)
- Update backlog to reflect new information discovered during feedback sessions, market needs
- Complete Operational Readiness Plan deliverables
- Provides release trainings for CS and sales
- Ensure that test plans cover intended use and workflows shows in feature demos and training artifacts
- Feature Preview and FCS preparation, feedback and response (if applicable)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in the conception of commercial software solutions
- In-depth knowledge of the processes in medical laboratories
- Knowledge of legal requirements regarding approval procedures for laboratory software
- Procedures of Dutch and French public/private billing
- Processes in Anatomic Pathology workflow
- Knowledge of Medical device, interface and instrument integration (HL7 and ASTM etc)
- Knowledge of microbiology
- Knowledge of the Bloodbank
- Knowledge about ISO13485
- Native Dutch
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
