Quality Manager
- Position Summary
Possess a strong foundation in software engineering test methodologies, techniques tools and proven experience in implementing these to deliver successful releases. Own the functional and administrative management responsibility for People and Projects. Lead team of Quality engineers in planning, design and execution of test strategies to deliver products that meet user needs by assessing all risks and mitigation plan. Manage and executes more than one project and / or release to success, at the same time. Possess test automation experience in building automation test framework and guide team on test automation assignments. Experience in working with various platforms (thick client, cloud, hand held device).Help educate a test-driven engineering team on QA best practices and tools.
- Skillset Requirements
- Exceptional comprehension skills, and ability to learn and contribute with minimal oversight - a self starter.
- Technically Agile: Proven ability to drive QA success adopting to changing trends in automation covering platforms, technology and AI techniques.
- Should have started the career as a quality analyst and eventually grown to a managerial role.
- Proven ability to learn a product in a short time and perform end to end validation testing
- Team Player: Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills.
- Priority Driven: Comfortable working in a continually changing and dynamic environment and driving top issues to resolution
- Ability to think in abstract and quickly grasp the essence of the job at hand.

- Educational Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of education and experience. Related graduate degree preferred (Master's).
- Technical Requirements
- Minimum 9 – 11 years of relevant experience.
- B.Tech& MBA from reputed college.
- Hands on experience on Manual Testing & Automation testing.
- Must have lead a team of Quality Analysts for 4+ years.
- Experience of working with major product & solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage the overall strategy for Validation team.
- Scope and manage the test automation effort with a focus on efficient testing.
- Create, measure, and report out key metrics for the performance of the QA team, as well as the quality and health of the various product lines.
- Leverage resources to ensure adequate test coverage and establish best practices.
- Lead multiple QA teams on the implementation of test strategies and set the team up for the future by bringing in progressive testing concepts to our organization that focus on efficiency while sacrifice nothing on quality.
- Own the QA defect processes and documentation and ensure that a standard process is being followed across the organization, and that proper tooling and reporting are in place.
- Act as a player/coach and bring leadership and guidance to the quality team across all facets of manual and automated testing efforts.
- Understand business objectives and build alignment and buy-in cross functionally.
- Motivate all team members to deliver high quality projects within committed time and budget.
- Responsible for the career development and mentorship of the QA team and for identifying staffing/hiring needs.
