Purpose

As a Principle Quality Engineer, you will work with a fast-paced and multi-functional Agile development team to build software for precision medicine that will use genetics to diagnose hereditary diseases and cancer treatment plans. As a leading member of the development team, your focus will be on identifying real-world, user-centric scenarios and workflows and building & executing test plans to ensure their accuracy. Additionally, you will provide oversight for reporting, tracking, and testing issues discovered during design and development as well as coaching, training, and helping to develop analysts who possess less experience.

Essential Functions

· Drive the development and execution of complex test plans and test cases based on approved business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and test strategy.

· Lead the functional testing team on a project and providing all requisite documentation.

· Ensure the planning and organization of the testing of software corrections and enhancements.

· Lead the review of and guidance on the resolution of testing issues.

· Responsible for complex test plan and specification reviews.

· Promotes and implements process improvement activities; works with management to ensure compliance with Suquest quality processes.

· Validate the review requirements and design documents for functional accuracy.

· Review test plans for completeness and to ensure compliance with requirements.

· All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills Needed to be Successful

· Superior analytical abilities

· Fluent in testing and de-bugging products according to Clinisys quality processes

· Expert understanding of company’s products.

· Complete understanding of entire development process, including design, development, and documentation.

· Excellent clear, effective verbal and written communication skills with clients and other departments.

Required Experience & Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience

· 7-10 years’ experience with software development life cycle, software testing methodologies, quality control, and/or quality assurance Working Experience with software testing and quality assurance methodologies

· Demonstrated experience with Agile development processes, SCRUM, and project tracking

Preferred Experience & Education

· Experience in healthcare industry

· Master’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
