Business Analyst - FP&A (Global Sales)
Position Summary
The Business Analyst – FP&A will play a vital role in supporting the Global Sales team by providing data-driven insights, managing key sales reports, and optimizing the forecasting processes. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), this role will oversee global pipeline management, assist with sales forecasts throughout the year, and maintain reports and dashboards within the CRM and Power BI.
The analyst will serve as a crucial link between the Global Sales and Finance teams, ensuring alignment on strategic company initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Pipeline Management & Forecasting
- Oversee and maintain sales pipeline data integrity within the CRM.
- Assist sales leadership in creating and managing sales forecasts by analyzing trends and providing data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with Sales & Finance to ensure accurate and timely updates to forecasts throughout the year.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, manage, and optimize sales reports and dashboards in PowerBI and Netsuite.
- Monitor key sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to Sales and Finance leadership.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the sales pipeline
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a conduit between the Sales & Finance teams, ensuring alignment on sales and revenue targets, sales performance, and financial planning.
- Work closely with sales leadership to improve reporting processes and data accuracy.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic initiatives that drive sales efficiency and financial insights.
Process Improvement & Data Integrity
- Continuously refine and enhance global reporting processes to improve visibility into sales performance.
- Ensure Netsuite and PowerBI data accuracy by implementing best practices in data governance.
- Assist in the adoption of new tools or methodologies to support business growth.
Skills
- Data-Driven Decision Making - Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Financial Acumen - Understanding of forecasting methodologies, revenue tracking, and basic financial planning principles.
- CRM & PowerBI Expertise - Proficiency in managing and optimizing reports and dashboards within
- CRM systems and PowerBI. (Netsuite or Salesforce a plus)
- Communication Skills - Ability to effectively collaborate with Sales and Finance teams, serving as a key liaison between the two functions.
- Process Improvement Mindset - Willingness to always refine and optimize key workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Advanced Excel & Data Visualization – Experience working with complex datasets within excel, creating reports, and presenting data in a clear way.
- Problem-Solving Skills - Identifying issues, analyzing options, and implementing solutions are critical
- for overcoming challenges and driving continuous improvement
- People Skills - Building strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Required Experience & Education
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a business analyst, financial analyst, or sales operations role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce, Netsuite, etc.).
- Proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data modeling, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Preferred Experience & Education
- Experience in the Software as a Service business or Healthcare software.
- Master’s degree in Management Information Systems or Data Analytics.
- Experience collaborating with a global team.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data-querying languages
- Background in process improvement and automation of reporting workflows.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is $53,700 - $67,200 annual base salary. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so it may be above or below this range.
