Job Description
Responsibilities
Prospect, develop, and secure sales for Winpath Enterprise replacements and ICE footprint expansion across UK&I.
Build C-Suite relationships to extend Pathology Network footprint and minimize open tenders.
Move Pathology or regional diagnostic networks to a single consolidated ICE solution.
Establish and maintain relationships with Trusts, private organizations, and relevant bodies to develop new business.
Support Sales Organization in region (Business Development, Account Management, Bid Support).
Create strategic relationships with C-Suite and Clinical groups to position Clinisys as a thought leader.
Own major complex deals, guiding opportunity win plans, commercial structure, technical design, and contractual approach.
Work with clients to structure procurement routes to maximize win rate.
Maintain territory plan and strategic roadmaps for key customers to maximize revenue.
Produce management reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Travel and overnight stays within UK and overseas as required.
Support customers in business case development and procurement.
Develop and strengthen value propositions; produce tailored proposals and documentation.
Manage internal approval of proposals and ensure deliverability.
Qualify customer requirements and build trusted relationships to secure advocacy.
Own and manage business development plan for territory.
Understand public contract procurement.
Provide bi-weekly territory updates and reports.
Support demos, exhibitions, user groups, and reference visits.
Attend client meetings, site surveys, and contribute to bid processes.
Represent customer requirements internally, including budgets.
Support handover processes to Contract Management and Delivery teams.
Assist in sales and marketing of Clinisys products; provide market intelligence.
Maintain product knowledge for credible presentations at Board level.
Progress personal development and support team growth.
Regular travel to customer sites and company offices.
Contribute to team spirit and undertake tasks assigned by Management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experienced sales professional with track record in complex, high-value solutions for UK&I Health Systems.
Self-motivated, driven, skilled in objection handling, negotiation, and persuasion.
Established credibility, able to operate at Board and Regional levels.
Multiple years in healthcare software sales; pathology/diagnostics knowledge preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Maintain C-Suite relationships and deliver strategic vision.
Able to adapt value propositions to changing opportunities.
Required Experience & Education
Strong healthcare IT knowledge; LIMS & ICE experience advantageous.
Software sales, account management, and customer relationship experience.
Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Leadership and contract knowledge an advantage.
Highly motivated and self-driven.
This role requires a working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and the ability to leverage them to improve processes and outcomes. A core understanding of AI concepts is required and must be able to demonstrate the use of AI tools in a professional setting.
Onboarding
As part of our onboarding process, all new employees will be required to attend / travel to the office on their first day of employment. This requirement is essential for onboarding activities, including the identity verification, completion of necessary documentation, receiving your IT equipment, introductions to key team members, and orientation to Clinisys policies and procedures.
