Vice President of Information Technology
Purpose:
The VP of Information Technology (VP-IT) is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s technology vision and strategy to enable business growth, operational efficiency, and innovation. This role oversees all aspects of information technology, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data management, and artificial intelligence initiatives. The VP-IT partners with executive leadership to align technology investments with corporate objectives, ensuring that IT delivers measurable value, mitigates risk, and supports a secure, scalable, and future-ready environment. The VP-IT also leads a high-performing IT team across 12 countries, fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
Technology Strategy & Vision
Define and execute the organization’s IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and innovation.
AI & Agentic Process Leadership
Lead the enterprise adoption of Artificial Intelligence and agentic workflows to automate complex processes and enable intelligent decision-making.
Develop and implement an AI roadmap that aligns with business priorities and drives measurable outcomes.
IT Governance & Risk Management
Establish policies, standards, and frameworks for IT operations and security.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage technology-related risks.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
Oversee enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs and data privacy measures.
Implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Infrastructure & Systems Management
Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and enterprise applications.
Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.
Budgeting & Financial Stewardship
Develop and manage IT budgets, optimizing technology investments for ROI.
Negotiate vendor contracts and manage strategic technology partnerships.
Leadership & Talent Development
Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Promote continuous learning and professional development within the IT organization.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify technology opportunities that drive business growth.
Communicate IT strategy and performance to the board and senior management.
Data & Analytics Enablement
Champion data-driven decision-making by implementing advanced analytics and business intelligence tools.
Ensure data integrity and accessibility across the organization.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with regulatory agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Adaptbility: Ability to adapt to changing security and technology environments and business needs.
Required Experience & Education
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent relevant work experience
3+ years experience demonstrating and promoting how AI positively impacts productivity and business results
Executive IT Leadership: Minimum 10 years’ experience of progressive experience in information technology and 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Managing technical teams that oversee both internal and client hosted environments
Overseeing physical data center operations
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g. SOC, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR)
Demonstrated success in implementing AI-driven solutions and agentic workflows
Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy regulations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Preferred Experience & Education
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Certifications or formal training in Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, or agentic automation frameworks.
Experience with enterprise cloud platforms (i.e. Azure) and applications (i.e. Netsuite, Service Now).
Experience managing IT functions across multiple geographies and time zones.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversee a globally dispersed IT team, including Enterprise Applications, Cyber Security, Infrastructure and AI / IT support services.
Team Leadership: Experience in leading and managing IT teams, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members. This involves setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a positive team culture.
Ensure the IT team and extended teams operate efficiently and effectively.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally between $200,000 - $250,000 in annual base salary. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the exact starting pay may be above or below this range.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds with assistance as part of office routine.
Approximately 25-50% domestic and international travel, may be required.
Travel to client sites that can pose risk associated with healthcare organization.
May be required to follow customer location health and safety requirements.
