Senior Bid Manager

Role Overview
As a senior commercial leader, you’ll drive end-to-end bid strategy, lead cross-functional virtual teams, and deliver compelling, compliant and commercially optimised submissions. You’ll champion the use of AI and Microsoft Copilot to elevate quality, accelerate delivery, and enable insight-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead complex bids and key opportunities from qualification through submission.
• Develop winning strategies informed by customer insight and competitive intelligence.
• Drive pricing models, risk assessment and strong governance.
• Enhance bid/proposal content quality and maintain AI-ready knowledge assets.
• Leverage AI tools to improve speed, consistency and analytical insight.
• Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales Clinical SME’s, Product, Quality, Delivery, Legal, Finance teams and Senior Leadership.
Travel: Home based with occasional travel to Woking HQ or customer sites.

Skills & Experience
What you bring
• Strong track record in complex bid/key opportunity management.
• Commercial modelling capability and UK and Ireland public-sector procurement experience.
• Excellent written communication and project leadership.
• Skilled with Microsoft 365, Copilot and generative AI tools.
• Healthcare IT or diagnostics experience beneficial.
Desirable
• Experience in healthcare IT or public sector technology.
• Knowledge of Loopio or NetSuite CRM.
• Understanding of AI governance or prompt engineering.
Qualifications
• Proven senior bid management experience.
• Experience leading multi million pound submissions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., APMP, Prince2, CIPS) are a plus.
This role requires a working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and the ability to leverage them to improve processes and outcomes. A core understanding of AI concepts is required and must be able to demonstrate the use of AI tools in a professional setting.
Onboarding
As part of our onboarding process, all new employees will be required to attend / travel to the office on their first day of employment. This requirement is essential for onboarding activities, including the identity verification, completion of necessary documentation, receiving your IT equipment, introductions to key team members, and orientation to Clinisys policies and procedures.
