Essential Functions • Design & Development: Build and maintain scalable applications using .NET Framework technologies. • Regulatory Alignment: Challenge and refine requirement definitions against regulations provided by German authorities. • Database Management: Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, focusing on scalability and performance. • Agile Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, DevOps) in a Scrum environment. • UI Implementation: Develop and implement performant Windows Forms UI controls. • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and author automated integration tests to meet acceptance criteria. • Quality Assurance: Perform root cause analysis on defects, author test cases in Azure DevOps, and ensure compliance with internal quality systems and regulatory standards. • Technical Documentation: Provide critical input for release notes and technical documentation. ________________________________________ Skills Needed for Success • Language Proficiency: German (C2 level) reading and writing is mandatory to work with localized products and a German source code base. • Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in .NET development (C# or VB.NET). • Modern Engineering: Proficiency in SOLID principles, design patterns, and engineering best practices. • AI & Data: Strong AI competencies and proficiency in SQL Server or other RDBMS. • Version Control: Good knowledge of Git. • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to refine/validate requirements prior to implementation. ________________________________________ Required Experience & Education • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. • SDLC Knowledge: 5+ years of experience with software engineering lifecycles and testing methodologies. • Frameworks: Knowledge of Windows Forms, C1 Flexgrid, and reporting tools like List & Label. • Full Stack Familiarity: Prerequisites include OOPS concepts and knowledge of React or TypeScript. • Continuous Learning: A strong inclination toward learning both legacy and emerging technologies. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Domain Expertise: Knowledge of medical laboratory workflows (Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank). • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with German healthcare regulations such as KBV, DEMIS, LDT, and Muster10. • Healthcare Tech: Experience with medical devices, healthcare software, or HL7 protocols. ________________________________________ Supervisory Responsibilities • Individual contributor role within an Agile team (no direct reports), but expected to provide technical mentorship and leadership during peer reviews and sprint planning.
