Manager - Solution Delivery
Position Summary:
The Manager, Shared Services has managerial responsibility for the success and efficiency of the team of Application Engineers who implement and deploy technically complex software products and services to client environments. This person will provide technical expertise, advice and support throughout the entire implementation process. The Manager Shared Services acts as a backup during the absence or unavailability of the Senior Manager, Shared Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives a culture of client advocacy, ensuring teams align technical solutions with customer business outcomes and maximise implementation efficiency.
Leads the effective translation of client business requirements into scalable technical solutions, guiding deployment and interface strategy.
Establishes and enforces structured delivery frameworks, including standardised processes, checklists, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality implementations.
Oversees cross-functional collaboration, ensuring clear communication of client requirements across development, product, support, and delivery teams.
Ensures robust quality assurance by guiding test strategy development, validation approaches, and risk mitigation throughout implementation lifecycles.
Provides strategic technical oversight, enabling teams to resolve complex issues, minimise delivery risk, and ensure successful system deployment.
Drives customer engagement excellence through effective solution demonstrations, training, and enablement across all phases of the delivery lifecycle.
Leads solution design and delivery execution, including interface development, data integration, and validation within project constraints.
Champions continuous improvement and sales enablement by contributing to process enhancements, RFPs, and technical solution proposals.
Builds high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and structured capability development, while ensuring compliance, risk management, and delivery accountability.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position supervises a team of Application Engineers and Sr Application Engineers. The person reports directly to Senior Manager, Shared Services
Requirements - General:

Flexible and delivery-focused, capable of operating effectively in remote environments and supporting critical client milestones, including go-lives.
Has the flexibility to, on occasion, work off hours/weekends in order to meet client needs and go-lives
Requirements – Technical:
Skilled in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio), and standard office equipment.
Has a working knowledge of medical laboratory workflows
Preferred Skills / Experience:
AI‑enabled Delivery Leadership: Ability to apply AI/Copilot to improve delivery speed, quality, and consistency, with strong validation and governance of outputs for client use.
Microsoft 365 Copilot Proficiency: Skilled in using Copilot across Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams to automate documentation, summarise communications, and generate customer‑ready artefacts.
AI Automation & Agent Development: Experience leveraging Copilot Studio (or similar) to build AI agents that support delivery workflows such as knowledge retrieval, reporting automation, and task tracking
Engineering AI Adoption & Governance: Experience driving GitHub Copilot adoption with strong controls for security, code quality, and standardisation within delivery teams.
Strong project management, software development, data migration, and technical support experience, with a proven ability to deliver complex, customer-facing solutions across the full implementation lifecycle—from design and deployment to stabilisation and ongoing support.
Education and / or Experience:
B.S. in computer science, Clinical Laboratory Science or related field; equivalent work experience will be considered
3+ years supervisory experience
5+ years related experience (e.g. software development; analysis or implementation in a customer facing role) or 3+ year relevant CLINISYS experience OR a combination of education and related working experience form which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.
Ability to overlap UK (Complete) and US working hours (Partial). Needs to work UK shits 2:00 AM IST to 10:00 PM IST.
