System Administrator - Oracle CPQ
Purpose
The CPQ Administrator supports and enhances internal business applications with a primary focus on Oracle CPQ. This role ensures the platform is optimized to meet evolving business needs while delivering support aligned with best practices in ERP and IT service management. Success in this cross-functional position requires strong collaboration, adaptability, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Essential Functions
User Access & Security
· Manage user roles, permissions, and provisioning while ensuring data security and performing regular system monitoring and backups.
· Create and maintain documentation such as SOPs, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
Business & Technical Alignment
· Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
· Collaborate with developers, partners and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
· Create custom solutions and reports based on business needs.
· Investigate and propose ways to maximize application and platform benefits.
System Configuration & Maintenance
· Assist with routine system monitoring, backups, and performance checks.
· Ensure compliance through audits and maintain application health.
AI and Automation Responsibilities
· As part of Clinisys’ AI-first strategy, the CPQ Administrator is expected to actively support the safe, responsible, and value-driven adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across enterprise applications.
· This role will work within established governance frameworks to ensure AI usage enhances operational efficiency, data quality, decision-making, and user experience.
· Support the configuration and administration of AI-enabled features within Oracle CPQ and adjacent platforms where approved.
· Collaborate with Enterprise Applications leadership to identify low-risk, high-value use cases for AI and automation aligned to business outcomes.
· Ensure AI capabilities comply with Clinisys AI governance policies, data protection requirements, access controls, and audit expectations.
· Assist in implementing guardrails for AI usage, including role-based access, logging, monitoring, and exception handling.
Support & Training
· Provide end-user support and training for Oracle CPQ topics
· Respond to support cases and guide users on system processes.
· Monitor support trends and proactively address recurring issues through targeted training and knowledge base updates.
· Collaborate with CPQ developers/ Partners for system enhancements and workflow improvements based on business needs or on identified process inefficiencies.
Collaboration & Issue Resolution
· Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and optimize business processes.
· Scope, implement, and support system enhancements in partnership with the NetSuite developer.

Required Experience & Education
· Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum of 3 years of hands-on support experience of Oracle CPQ including supporting Sales and finance teams to optimize CPQ processes.
· Good understanding of Sales, Quotes & financial processes and reporting.
Preferred Experience
· Experience with ServiceNow, Oracle NetSuite
· Familiarity with SQL and data integration tools such as Celigo or Boomi.
Certifications:
· ITIL Foundation certification (required)
· Oracle CPQ Administrator Certification (required)
· Advanced ITIL certifications (preferred)
