Technical Project Engineer, Laboratory Systems & Interfaces

The role
As a Technical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and integration of Clinisys laboratory solutions. Your focus will include programming interfaces, connecting laboratory instruments and devices, and integrating systems within customer IT environments. Previous laboratory knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
Key responsibilities
Design, configure, program and test interfaces between laboratory systems, analysers, instruments, devices and external applications.
Deliver technical implementation activities including systems analysis, data architecture, integration workshops and validation support.
Investigate connectivity and data-flow issues, identify technical risks and coordinate solutions with customers and Development.
Manage assigned technical workstreams or small integration projects in line with agreed project plans and budgets.
Produce technical documentation and deliver customer handovers, training, system updates and upgrades.
Support Project Management, Customer Services, Support and Sales with technical analysis and implementation planning.
Experience and qualifications
Degree, vocational qualification or equivalent professional experience in IT, software engineering, computer science or a related technical discipline.
Programming or scripting experience, particularly involving system interfaces, data exchange or application integration.
Experience connecting software platforms, laboratory instruments, analysers or other technical devices.
Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, ASTM or IHE.
Understanding of operating systems, networking and virtualised environments; LIS, LIMS or laboratory knowledge is beneficial.
Fluent German and professional proficiency in English.

Als Technischer Projektingenieur verantworten Sie die technische Implementierung und Integration von Clinisys-Laborlösungen. Durchführung technischer Implementierungsaufgaben, einschließlich Systemanalyse, Datenarchitektur, Integrationsworkshops und Unterstützung bei der Validierung.
Analyse von Konnektivitäts- und Datenflussproblemen, Identifikation technischer Risiken und Koordination von Lösungen mit Kunden und der Entwicklung.
Steuerung zugewiesener technischer Arbeitspakete oder kleinerer Integrationsprojekte gemäß vereinbarten Projektplänen und Budgets.
Erstellung technischer Dokumentationen sowie Durchführung von Kundenübergaben, Schulungen, Systemupdates und Upgrades.
Unterstützung von Projektmanagement, Customer Services, Support und Vertrieb bei technischer Analyse und Implementierungsplanung.
Erfahrung und Qualifikationen
Studium, Berufsausbildung oder gleichwertige Berufserfahrung in IT, Software Engineering, Informatik oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Fachgebiet.
Erfahrung in Programmierung oder Scripting, insbesondere im Bereich Systemschnittstellen, Datenaustausch oder Anwendungsintegration.
Erfahrung in der Anbindung von Softwareplattformen, Laborinstrumenten, Analysegeräten oder anderen technischen Geräten.
Kenntnisse von Interoperabilitätsstandards im Gesundheitswesen, beispielsweise HL7, ASTM oder IHE.
Verständnis von Betriebssystemen, Netzwerken und virtualisierten Umgebungen; Kenntnisse von LIS, LIMS oder Laborprozessen sind von Vorteil.
Fließende Deutschkenntnisse sowie gute berufsbezogene Englischkenntnisse.
