Manager of Global Education and Training
Purpose
In-office role; currently 3 days a week in-office. Based in Raleigh, NC, or Carmel, IN, the Manager, Global Education & Training, Internal leads development, delivery, and continuous improvement of internal, role-based training programs for a global workforce. This role is responsible for overseeing the team that designs and delivers all types of training (instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning) to support employee readiness and ongoing development. The manager also plays a key role in building and maintaining the processes to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure training aligns with organizational needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive internal training programs for employees across all functions, geographies, and job levels.
Oversee role-based and ongoing development training, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, aligned with job/experience levels, and aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with functional leaders to identify training needs and solutions, and to build/maintain a company-wide role-based training system.
Ensure training programs incorporate best practices in adult learning theory and leverage a variety of modalities (classroom, virtual, eLearning, microlearning).
Monitor and report on key training analytics, evaluating training effectiveness and making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Develop, document, and review processes, standards, and methodologies for training knowledge dissemination.
Establish relevant market-based tactics and SMART success measurements aligned with best practices to support internal training activities.
Partner with direct reports to support their career pathing, professional growth, and day-to-day performance; conduct regular coaching and performance reviews.
Support the growth of the training team as organizational needs evolve.
Stay current on industry trends, tools, technologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to internal training.
Develop processes, aligned with QARA regulations, to ensure proper retention of education and training collateral approvals.
Perform quality checks on training materials and documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business goals.
Ensure quality standards, brand consistency, and compliance with corporate policies.
Ensure all materials are aligned with QARA regulations and reviewed by digital marketing team for alignment to brand.
Ensure all regionally developed materials align under the corporate image, positioning, and messaging throughout all laboratory solutions, promotional materials, campaigns, events, and all other mediums.
Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, and all other international regulatory requirements with which Clinisys complies.
Skills needed to be successful
In-depth understanding of software development methodologies and widely accepted industry quality standards, and how to incorporate into education and training programs.
Proven ability to lead, manage, develop, and teach education and training teams.
Proven expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and training delivery (classroom, virtual, and eLearning).
Proven experience with LMS administration, knowledge management tools, and multimedia content creation.
Ability to lead and execute on multiple, critical projects at a time, meeting deadlines.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality, including when under pressure.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills; able to set KPIs and align training initiatives with business goals.
Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate effective training programs for a global workforce.
Validated ability to communicate to multiple audiences in written, verbal, and presentation format.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.

Solid knowledge of modern education and training tools, techniques, and technology.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Monday), and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Suite).
Required Experience & Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Communication, Instructional Design, Business Administration, Science, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience direct people management.
5+ years of experience in educational and training positions, demonstrating effective leadership in team and project management accompanied by quantifiable results.
5+ years of demonstrated experience in instructional design, adult learning theory, and training delivery (classroom, virtual, and eLearning).
Up to 20% travel may be required (domestic and international).
Preferred Experience & Certifications
Master’s Degree in Education, Communication, Instructional Design, Business Administration, Science, or related discipline.
Certifications in training, coaching, HR, or related fields (e.g., HRCI/SHRM).
Experience working in global and/or international education and training.
Experience with role-based training systems and global workforce development.
Verbal and written communication skills in additional languages, a plus: French, Dutch, German, and/or Spanish.
Experience with SaaS and Cloud based solutions.
Experience with training in laboratory workflows, medical devices, and/or healthcare, scientific, and/or life science environments.
Familiarity with graphic design, multimedia production tools, and authoring tools (Articulate, Rise, Camtasia), Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Captivate, After Effects, Premier), and other tools.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the $80,000 - $115,000 annual base salary range. However, the successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the exact starting pay may be above or below this range.
