Software Engineer - Devops
We are seeking a Software Engineer – DevOps with hands‑on experience in software development, DevOps practices, and automation across multiple technology stacks. The role requires strong exposure to end‑to‑end software development lifecycle and multi‑tier architectures.
The engineer will use GitHub Copilot—including MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations—to streamline specification‑driven development, generate high‑quality tests and documentation, and improve delivery speed and consistency. Strong communication, ownership, commitment, and collaboration skills are essential. Experience in the healthcare domain is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
· Build, maintain, and enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines aimed at continuous improvement.
· Perform root cause analysis for production issues and drive resolution.
· Implement and manage development, testing, automation tools, and Azure infrastructure.
· Promote and implement automated processes wherever feasible.
· Develop PowerShell scripts to solve complex deployment challenges.
· Define and improve DevOps processes for development, testing, release, update, and support.
· Monitor lifecycle processes for adherence and implement improvements to reduce waste.
· Coordinate with development, operations, and cross‑functional teams.
· Select, configure, and manage appropriate CI/CD tools.
· Design troubleshooting and maintenance procedures for system stability.
· Collaborate with team members to solve complex infrastructure, security, and development challenges.
· Conduct incremental testing on code, processes, and deployments to streamline execution and minimize errors.
· Leverage GitHub Copilot to accelerate development by generating code scaffolds, unit tests, documentation, and pipeline snippets, while validating AI‑assisted outputs for accuracy, security, and compliance before integration.
Skillset Requirements
· Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation.
· Strong hands‑on experience building Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines and deployment automation.
· Proficiency in scripting languages: YAML, PowerShell, Unix shell scripting.
· Good working knowledge of Azure Cloud services.
· Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and collaborate with Microsoft support teams.
· Experience using GitHub Copilot to convert user stories and acceptance criteria into scaffolded code, tests, and documentation.
· Preferably .NET programming and RDBMS experience.
· 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with Bicep and ARM templates for IaC.
· Experience building enterprise‑level reusable automation frameworks.
· Proficiency in CI/CD using YAML in Azure DevOps.
· Experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub/TFS source control.
· Familiarity with GitHub Copilot MCP or ability to quickly learn grounded‑context workflows.
