Molecular Professional Services Consultant
Purpose
As a Professional Services Consultant, you will deliver implementation or consulting projects to achieve successful on-time schedule completion and client satisfaction. You will provide clients with mentorship and advice for workflow planning and drive adoption of standard methodologies for the greatest customer return on investment. You will be responsible for performing contracted onsite and remote services for clients.

Essential Functions
Consult pre-sale and post-sale with key stakeholders to ensure project scope aligns with contracted customer expectations
Conduct implementations demonstrating a thorough knowledge and understanding of department procedures and guidelines
Guide the client in their decision-making to achieve maximum efficiency using Clinisys best practice recommendations
Conduct training for the client as part of the overall implementation process
Provide input to process improvements by monitoring both client and departmental feedback
Travel to client sites to install Clinisys software products following department procedures and guidelines
Maintain a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction throughout the entire duration of the customer relationship
Resolve project issues or determine when escalation to senior staff or management is required
Collaborates and Mentors other Professional Services Consultants to expand own and others' depth & breadth of Clinisys product knowledge
Effectively organize and prioritize project tasks to ensure timely completion of projects assigned
Stay up-to-date on new features, enhancements, versions and products
Deliver intermediate to advanced implementation or consulting projects to achieve successful on-time schedule completion
Complete other projects as assigned
Skills
Strong understanding of client/ laboratory workflow concepts relative to software applications with some knowledge of interfaces
Ability to understand how multiple systems work together and ability to make recommendations
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and effectively manage projects and priorities from start to finish
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of Clinisys Products and expected to take on the role of a (SME) subject matter expert
Able to develop and improve workflow processes and procedures and drive client process improvements
Strong understanding of best practice implementation methodologies
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare specialty workflow(s)
Utilize Microsoft Copilot to streamline processes and communication
Required Experience & Education
Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, Healthcare, Information Technology, Bioinformatics or a related degree
2+ years of experience with molecular/genomics laboratory workflows, including PCR, Sanger sequencing, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), with familiarity in sequencing data generation, analysis pipelines, and laboratory information systems supporting genomic testing.
1+ years of experience in healthcare and/or IT/software environment
Previous demonstrated experience utilizing AI-enabled tools, like Microsoft Copilot, to streamline workflows and assist in workload planning
Preferred Experience & Education
3-5 years experience with laboratory information systems, clinical molecular diagnostics/genomics applications, or Clinisys software products
1 year experience working in a consulting or implementation environment.
Relevant certifications such as MLS (ASCP), MLT (ASCP), MB (ASCP), CGMBS (ASCP), or equivalent laboratory credentials.

Compensation for this role is typically between $80,000 - $100,000, but will be determined based on a variety of factors, including work location, qualifications, and relevant experience. The actual starting pay may vary accordingly.

Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal health or safety hazards exposure. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
50% - 80% Travel may be required.
Moderate lifting/carrying 15-44 lbs.; use of fingers; walking/standing 2-6 hours
Exposure to hazardous materials or various weather conditions
Travel to client sites that can pose risks associated with a healthcare organization
May be required to follow customer location health and safety requirements
